Представляю вашему вниманию талантливую группу из Финляднии!конечно кто-то зайдя в эту тему скажет что групп с женским вокалом много и нового ничего в этом стиле придумать нельзя)в какой-то мере такой человек и окажется прав..но..лично для меня эти ребята открытие года!очень классный дебютный альбом они выпустили..глоток свежего воздуха прямо..женский вокал просто обалденный!он придаёт особое очарование их музыке..гроул кстати присутствует)..советую всем любителям фемэйл-фронтед металла ознакомится с этой командой..при хорошем стечении обстоятельств их ждёт большой успех!правда были в группе и неприятные ситуации со сменой участников...к слову кстати-альбом записывал сам Tero Kinnunen!это говорит о том,что группа реально интересная)так что слушаем и высказываемся!

Соотношение женского вокала и гроула в самый раз, на мой взгляд Вокал очень красивый, хотя конечно хотелось бы послушать их живьем UPD: Хотя судя по всему это вокал предыдущей вокалистки
Ну а то что, альбом записывал Tero Kinnunen - присутствие его имени говорит само за себя.

Какая интересная группа! Я совершенно случайно о ней узнала - слушала в контакте Aurora Borealis (Eternal Tears Of Sorrow), а следующей по списку следовала Aurora Borealis этой группы. Обе конечно красивые, но их песня получилась с характером. И гроул у них гораздо больше приглянулся. Решила найти информацию в том же контакте. Инфа показалась сначала противоречивой, в одной биографии певицей значилась Магдалена, а в другой Евгения. Но потом все встало на свои места, Магдалена ушла из группы как раз перед выходом альбома (букв много, но очень интересно):
It was early in 2007 when I, your humble narrator Vasstago, decided to found the band with Magdalena. We thought it would be wonderful to join my throat voice with Magdalenas dramatic soprano voice and make brilliant powerful melodic gothic / fantasy metal.
Magdalena, who is 1st founder of the band, is also the main-composer, keyboardist, violinist & vocalist of the band. She started very early in her childhood to play violin, piano, guitar and some other instruments too. She started also to sing and to make some compositions as a child. She had already her first big concerts as a child for a big audience.
She graduated from the classic academy in Russia as a music teacher and continued her studies in Sibelius academy in Helsinki. She have played and sung in different bands, orchestras and choirs.
She has studied opera singing f.e. with professor Juri Statnik (Bolshoi-Theatre, Moscow), studies with Anna Karlsson (Finnish National Opera, Helsinki) and Master Classes of professor Irina Gavrilovici (Vienna). Magdalenas voice is dramatic soprano with a powerful, rich, emotive voice with dark timbre, so she can sing over a full orchestra.
I, Vasstago have sung & made lyrics in different bands in the past and I make the lyrics in this band too. I also help Magdalena to compose the drafts. Im the 2nd founder of this band and I am also the throat vocalist in it.
We had quite clear effigy with Magdalena of our music & style and we started to make the first drafts of our songs. It took us a lot of time to find good musicians and a place for practising but finally we found Peuge, our drummer, who also found a practising place for us.
Peuge, our drummer has a lot of experience of playing the drums. He is an important member of our band and he arranges Magdalenas drafts for dark & heavy metal.
Very soon after finding Peuge we also found our guitarist & bass player - Tomi, who has a lot of experience as the musician too. He also composes and arranges the songs with Peuge and Magdalena.
Итак, группа была образована в Хельсинки в январе 2007. The band was complete and it was time to start the real working. That started finally in the spring of 2007. I came up with our band name "Tears of Magdalena" at that time. The name describes Magdalenas composing work born inside her sensitive and emotional heart.
After one year of hard work all efforts were paid when we signed a deal with Scarlet Records. We found Tero Kinnunen (known also from Nightwish) who was really interested in recording and mixing our debut album. So, recordings started in February 2008 and Mika Jussila from Finnvox studios finished with the mastering at the end of May 2008. It was great pleasure to work with such professional persons.
We had couple of gigs during the summer but then Japanese biggest record label, Marquee Avalon also wanted to release our album. They wished to have a bonus song only for Japanese markets. Therefore, we went back to the studio to record a song called 'October Rust'. This is really great opportunity for the band to get publicity also in Japanese markets!
After having problems with Vasstago for several months, we decided that our bass player, Tommy, takes over the male singing parts.
During fall we were training for gigs, and also we were working hard with promotion. Just before album release we started to have disagreements with Magdalena Lee and decided to go separate ways. However, we were fortunate to find very talented classical singer Jevgenia. She has all qualities we were looking for: beautiful classical voice, strong experience and great personality. Jevgenia is also known from famous symphonic metal band Kivimetsän Druidi and she has been touring around Europe with KmD/Korpiklaani.
New members bring a lot of new 'blood' to the band and we can't wait start working with new material!
As now we have a great gang together we are ready for gigs.

Интересно было бы их сравнить, поскольку альбом записан с Магдаленой, а новую солистку мы еще не слышали. Но внешне Евгения гораздо красивее :grin:
PS: надеюсь, они и без Магдалены еще всем покажут, надеюсь - потому что она же уних и композитор, и скрипач, и идейный вдохновитель в некоторой степени. Мне ее стиль понравился. Хотелось бы в дальнейшем творчества тоже в таком духе..
Mielikki, Вообще, там был жесткий спор между ними - Между Басистом-Гроулистом, Магдаленой, и Гитаристом с Барабанщиком. И вот суть то как раз в том что они, первые хотели себе присвоить название, хотя Гитарист утверждает, что группа как и песни были созданы в большей части им Вот так. Ну в общем, думаю у них все получится

Actually the first five months the band name was 'Dream Liturgia', then we had several suggestions for the band name and Peuge finally decided the name 'Tears Of Magdalena'. Это название придумал Пег, барабанщик. А в другой биографии Vasstago, который гроулист, утверждает, что это он кейм ап виз нэйм.. короче, две правды.. Vaatago, наверное, тоже ушел.
