Не сказать, что свежая статья, конечно. Но для истории:
There was a one-page article this week in Finland's biggest rock-music magazine, Soundi, about Kypck's forthcoming, yet unnamed, album. The whole band was included in the interview. Here's a brief:
When asked about the band's situation, Hiilesmaa explained that the band has become a tight unit after the concerts played for the Cherno-album. Before Cherno, they had never played together.
During the interview, Lopakka was recording crushingly-heavy guitar riffs for a song under the working-name "Ural", which seems to last over 9 minutes.
In describing the new material, they commented that the songs are still hopelessly melancholic, slow and heavy, but perhaps a bit more "savoury", with more shades and tones. Bassist Yla-Rautio added that there are even a couple of fast rollers among the songs, although in the case of Kypck, the songs are still slower than most bands'!
Finally, Seppanen commented on the lyrical side. He said that while some lyrics for Cherno were somewhat inspired by the Soviet-era (except for example, "Demon", "Predatel" and "Ne prosti", I think), the stories of this album go further back into history.
