What a night...
I was trying to forget what was happening on Saturday night. But then a friend sent me a text and asked if I was going to see Nightwish. No, didn’t get a ticket because they sold so quickly :’(
Well, get here then! I’ve got a ticket!
I go: acvsjdhkjsdgfskdhfjs!!!! WhAT?
P.S. 2 tickets so grab someone.
asdlgfjgasdkjfashjgflsdada!!! It took us an hour to get to the venue and all my lovely friend wanted in return for the tickets? 2 McDonald’s meals. So I took her 2 plus sizes. Gosh, I love her!
This was the first time I’ve ever heard Floor Jansen sing. She sounded amazing!
And the movie? AAAAHHH! So well done. The music was beautiful. I need to go see it again in the cinema, because the sounds were horrible at some points of the movie because they were so loud and it echoed around the hall. I had no idea what was going on in the movie for a long while, but then I started to get it xD
The ending had me smiling madly. Such a great movie! Everybody should go see it

Правда скорее всего снималось это всё для экранов, которые транслировали происходящее для дальних трибун. В прошлой раз такой полезной фичи не было. Вообще круто у Найтов выходит-третий концерт в Hartwall, третья вокалистка

Back from the Imaginaerum movie premiere & concert...
Just a few quick thoughts about this special night - I’ll post a proper review once I get back home tomorrow evening.
- The concert, as I said earlier, was just superb. Pekka Kuusisto, an amazing Finnish violinist, joined the band onstage for I Want My Tears Back and Last of the Wilds.
- Floor. Wow. She just blew me away with her performance. And of course she won all of us Finns over with a few Finnish phrases.
- The band seemed like they were having so much fun and I was so glad to see that after all that has happened during the last few months.
- And then the movie itself… I loved it. Beforehand I really wasn’t sure how it was going to be, but the story, the visual world and the message behind it all captured me from the first seconds and held me until the ending credits were rolling on the screen.
- Even though I have no complaints about Floor possibly joining the band (how could I after a show like that?) I felt quite sad and wistful whenever Anette appeared on screen. And she was just magnificent - the Scaretale-scene was one of my favorite moments in the whole movie. And that new version of The Owl, the Crow and The Dove… I still haven’t had the chance to listen to The Score but I dearly hope that one is included as it was just stunningly beautiful.
So a few quick thoughts, huh? It was such a wonderful experience and so much to take in at once that it will probably take me a few more days to sink in. But I do know that I loved every second of this night and I feel reassured that the spirit of Nightwish prevails and this was not the last unforgettable memory I shared with my favourite band.
