"Go for it, Anette!"
Do you think Nightwish has any Swedish fans?
I think there are some Nightwish fans in Sweden as at least one of their albums has sold gold.
Teenagers know about the band now, but it's not so popular among older people. Of course I hope I can gain the band some new fans.
Among other projects you have sung in an Abba cover band. Is your son more excited about your heavy metal career?
My six-year-old son Seth is a fanatical Nightwish fan. I couldn't tell him about having been chosen as their singer at first, though, because it was a secret. And you can never tell about children: either they tell everyone or to none at all. A couple of weeks ago I was allowed to spill the beans, and when Seth heard I was going to appear in television as well, he was like "Wow". He watches a lot of MTV and listens to pop like Madonna.
Which band you would apply as a vocalist for: Ace of Base or Army of Lovers?
Oh, Army of Lovers. Alexander Bard is a great character and the whole band is awesome. They also have a lot of good songs.
Who is sexier: Per Gessle from Roxette or "Diggi-loo diggy-ley" -singing boy band Herreys?
I love Herreys! I even had a poster of them on my wall - not anymore, of course! And such lovely golden shoes. Per Gessle isn't my favourite - even though he's sexier now with a couple of wrinkles.
What have you done about your appearance after you were chosen to the band?
My hair colour has changed, as I used to have fair hair. I was Agnetha in the Abba cover band, after all.
And when you change your hair colour, you have to chang your make-up as well. My clothes have remained the same.
Tuomas Holopainen has a fantastic Disney collection. Have you seen it?
Yes, I've seen all of it. Yes, yes. I have been in Tuomas's room. That's right, in Kitee.
Is that normal, you ask? What is normal? I have a certain friend with me as well. Her name is Mumma. She's a red barbababa, a gift from my son. Mumma can come with me to stage as well if she wants to.
I've never collected anything myself, even though I was a Barbie fan. I had tons of them, but I ruined them all. I pierced their ears and cut their hair, one of them lost her leg. My mother made them new clothes and was horrified by their new hair-dos. I would have loved to have a daughter with whom I would've been able to play with them. But no, Seth only has cars and Spider-Mans.
How many Ken dolls did you have?
Not even one! I didn't even know there were Ken dolls. Or maybe I did, but I really didn't want any.
The girls had so much more fun among themselves.
