Samantha: So Nightwish has been described as more than just a great metal band; it's more of an experience. How would you guys describe Nightwish?
Tuomas: 'A vehicle of spirit that defies category.' That's [what it says] on the back of our T-shirts. That came from a guy who saw us for the first time.
Samantha: That's beautiful, actually.
Tuomas: Yes, that's not made up by us, but I've never heard a better description of what Nightwish is about.
И ещё забавный момент:
Samantha: Many of your long term fans have been wondering about Tarja Turunen, your former front woman, who departed over irreconcilable differences. A lot of them are wondering, have you heard anything from her lately? Have you talked?
Tuomas: No, there's total radio silence for the past seven years.
Samantha: So there hasn't been any reconciliation?
Marco: No, we haven't really talked. I mean, I met her just by lock or accident, whatever. I met her one time in an airport. Well, we talked for a couple of minutes just this and that, how are the kids, blah blah blah. And how are you doing, blah blah blah, so basically friendly, but there's no connection.
А ещё Марко как всегда отличился
Samantha: Have there been any funny stories on the tour so far? Has anything crazy happen?
Marco: Well, today I had a slightly surprising [encounter]. I was slightly surprised when we had to stop because an air compressor from the bus broke down and I went outside to have a smoke and actually pissed over the fence. This slightly angry snake with the glistening wet head went really fast away. And I said, “Sorry, little dude”.
Один добрый юзер с Tumblr сделал для нас обзор происходящего в финской прессе(по поводу Найтов естественно) на английском языке http://mylittlehumma.tumblr.com/
Nothing new there… Though I can feel their pain. Both Anette and the band are deadly silent. Stricktly no comment. I can understand why they don’ want to say anything yet. They need to focus on tour and I’m pretty sure they need some time to digest this themselves. My opinion is that most likely they had planned this for some time but something happened and they decided that it’s best to do this now rather than later. Then again, it’s very convinient that they are on the other side of the planet away from Finnish hyeenas press. Well, we’ll see.
In the meanwhile, Finnish media tries to call everyone and their dog with any connection with Nightwish for comments. MTV3 interviewed Plamen Dimov. (The former music teacher of the boys from Kitee.) And The Rasmus. Because The Rasmus surely knows what’s going on… Suprisingly they both said that these things happen and sometimes it’s best to go separate ways. And you need to have a good feeling inside the band and blaa blaa. Plamen also descriped Tuomas’ person and the news desided that it’s good enough for another article. (Plamen said he’s a calm person with warm heart and that he’s a musical genious. And that’s pretty much it.) MTV3 also tried to get a comment from Tarja but she informed them she’s not giving any comments.
Iltasanomat had found someone called Kevin Lewis who was on the Seattle gig. He said that Floor was suprisingly good though not perfect. He also said that Floor sang Anette’s songs better than Tarja’s. The only interesting thing in this article is that Lewis said Floor didn’t use any papers and remembered lyrics quite well. Another proof that she knew about this in advance. They also interviewed two “anonymous insiders” close to the band. (As my husband said, they probably went to local gas station in Kitee and just interviewed whoever they happened to meet.) Anyway, the insiders said that the situation must have gotten bad in a very short time. They also said that Anette was an outsider in the band. The other one said that the order was always the band first and the singer next. The other one reminded that the boys have known each others since childhood and have a good team spirit. And because of that, Anette was always an outsider. [The source seems to forget that Marco hasn’t known the others since childhood but hey, who cares about details when you can have a scandal. I really dislike the way the yellow papers try to make it look like the boys vs. a girl fight just to get attention.]
Iltalehti interviewed a Finnish not-very-famous-artist Sani who maybe was almost going to be the new singer of Nightwish if Anette would have said no. She sang in a disco band that was somewhat famous in Finland in the 90’s. She says that she’s still available. (Well, aren’t we all. At least I would be “available” for Tuomas any time *ahem*.)
I’m not sure if there were anything new really. Some sources say that Anette had to stay in hospital because the flu she has is pretty bad and the band was trying to find someone to cover for her throughout sunday. It’s possible that they had planned this for some time and simply decided to do it now so that Anette can have a proper rest and get better.

Translated interview about Floor being the new singer.
I’ll translate the whole video for you guys over here, so you can understand it a little bit. http://omroep.vara.nl/media/187096
Giel: Today is the day that will go into the history books as the day of the official gig of Nightwish with our Floor Jansen. I have to explain this one. You know her of After Forever, or maybe you don’t. I can let you hear something because they’ve had a gig here too and right now she’s in ReVamp. I don’t know if you can call that ‘Gothic’ nowadays and you also have Nightwish, something atmospheric. *Starts Nightwish* From one to the other moment the singer of Nightwish has left the band. A lot going on over there, some disagreements about the future with Anette Olzon. So, they called Floor Jansen and she already had her first gig with them and she’s almost going up stage for the second one, but I am going to call her right now. She’s in Portland where’s she has the gig. Wait a second. *Phone is ringing* He Floor! You’re talking to Giel, from the radio. Goodmorning.
Floor: Yes, goodevening! Haha.
Giel: Oh Floor, nice to hear your voice. I thought yesterday ‘I’m so proud that I know you, Floor.’
Floor: Really? What nice. It’s a madhouse over here.
Giel: I can understand that. Where are you right now because it’s sounds like you’re in a cave?
Floor: I’m in the dressingroom, to be honest. *Blablabla, can’t here what she’s saying because she is mumbles, but it’ll not be that important.* Big musichall, beautiful musichall in Portland, USA.
Giel: Floor, can you tell me how you heard it? When did you heard about it?
Floor: Saturdaymorning I’ve got a text with the message ‘How fast can you come to the USA?’ So I packed everything as a idiot and booked a ticket for the first plane and practised. They’ve asked me earlier to go on stage with them, what would’ve been in November/December/January.
Giel: Oh, ok. I already thought ‘You don’t know the songs?’ but you were already busy with that.
Floor: I’ve been a little bit busy with it for only one week, but some things changed and in no time, so yeah. I really had a few days and a rehearsal of two hours and text in front of me.
Giel: And how reacted the public? They came for Nightwish and when they came up they had another lead singer.
Floor: Uh.. Yes, that really was exciting. Really awesome to see how people react really positive. There were people with signs with my name on it and nothing to find but positive reaction on social media.
Giel: What funny! And right now you’re in a rollercoaster that won’t stop soon, because how does your schedule look right now?
Floor: I’ll be with them in the USA for the next two weeks and in the beginning of November they have some shows in the UK and they’ve made a movie which will come out on November 23, and will be in premiere on November 10 with the same title as their album Imaginaerum. A really big show, so that’s awesome. And a tour in Australia and New Zealand in January.
Giel: You’re saying ‘them’ but you can say ‘we’. How is it to be with the band?
Floor: The nice thing is that I already know them for four years and we’ve toured with them during After Forever, so we’ve stayed in contact ever since. They are really nice guys. The only thing to get used to is the Finnish language because they’re all Finnish. So if they talk to each other I really don’t know what they’re saying.
Giel: God, oh, god.
Floor: It’s really special that this can be something beautiful. A dream comes true.
Giel: Well there you are and I think that I can expect that you are going to the studio with them in the future, to record the next album?
Floor: There’s nothing said about that so..
Giel: Yeah..
Floor: Right now it’s just to replace Anette temporary. I only know that right know It is really awesome and I’m going to enjoy of this every minute and we’ll see what the future brings us.
This will be the most important part of the whole interview. Other stuff is going about ReVamp etc.
