The most embarrassing incident of the summer took place some time after Provinssirock.
“It was the summer of 2001, and we were at a gig somewhere” Tuomas recalls, blushing. “Vänskä had gotten this plastic bag full of porn store surplus goods – some hardcore stuff, really nasty playing cards, a didlo, a huge pile of condoms… and scat photos. Extremely disgusting. The bag was lying around in the bus through the whole weekend, and in the end, we totally forgot that is was there”.
“We drove back to Monttu club in Kitee, where my mom was waiting to pick us up. We emptied the bus, threw our gear to my mom’s car, and she drove us home. No one remembered about the plastic bag. The next morning I woke up and went downstairs only to find the contents of the porno bag neatly laid out on top of my keyboards. In a matter of about it hit me: my mom, a 60-year-old teacher, had woken up four hours before me and found the bag in the car.”
“I went outside to ask dad if mom was home. She wasn’t. Dad asked me where that bag had come from. ‘Well, obviously from mom’s car’, I said. My mom had left for Russia for one of her charity things, and right before she’d left, she’d noticed the bag. Thank God – I mean, just think about if they had searched the car at the border and found the bag there! Dad told me that mom had gotten the shock of her life that morning. Like, ‘What the hell is Tuomas up to these days? Is this really my son, is he really interested in this stuff like this?’ She had spread everything on the table – the playing cards, the didlo – and said that she understands a lot, but that this was a bit too much to handle. I called my mom and explained the bag wasn’t mine. Dad told me she had said, ‘Oh well, if that’s what he’s really into, I guess we cant help it!’”, Tuomas smiles.
Если у Тоумаса и были конкретные причины для увольнения господина Vänskä, то они описаны в этой истории. Если серьёзно, не очень приятная ситуация. Особенно для человека, который боится даже курить при матери, несмотря на возраст.

Тут канеш и вправду некислая подстава вышла. Мне маму туо искренне жаль ... обнаружить у родного сына такой "боевой" набор ... ужоснах!!!
